Lighthouse Baptist (LBC) is pastored by Bart W. Spencer. Brother Spencer and his family moved to Holland, MI in August 1997 to plant the church. In August 1998 LBC held its first Mission Conference under the leadership of Dr. Alverson and the church hasn't been the same since. In the succeeding 9(+) years LBC has given over $300,000 to missions! LBC operates a Bible Institute and has a vision for a Christian Day School, Missions Avenue, Orphanage, and Home for Troubled Girls. A vibrant ministry holding the old time ways, LBC is a breath for fresh air amid the clouds of modernism.
